What is now SGDBOX-EUWBOX was conceived in Southern California in the Autumn of 2008, during one of the worst worldwide economic crisis in modern history. The economic "crunch" coincided with growing global concerns over climate change and clean & affordable energy sources. Sandra Garratt has long believed that we have the choice of a brighter future due to humankind’s indomitable optimism, pragmatism, and ability to continually innovate new solutions to ever evolving problems. Indeed, amid so much bleakness, there is hope & incredible innovation.
